Kids Cheese Quesadilla

The dip sauce they give along with the fries is really good. I have had afew dishes from their menu in the past. I liked their chicken quesadilla and also, if you would be wanting to have a heavy lunch then chapati wrap is what you might look out for.

The lamb gyro and beef sambusas are my favorite here. Great service. They don’t know me by name but they certainly know me by face and I think voice. Never a bad meal. The kids quesadillas are my son’s favorite and pretty tasty.

I’ve been in a few times and each time is a delight! The lamb gyro is amazing and it comes with delicious French fries. I especially enjoy their chicken quesadillas. They also have the best coconut shrimp in Minnesota! This particular location is situated near the Gopher Stadium. Their perfect fusion of African, Mediterranean and American styled food is worth checking out.

Afro is an ICON. An institution. A petition was started to try to prevent its closure on West Bank several years ago before the move to Washington Ave because they are just that awesome. Nice people, amazing food. The only downside to its amazingness is the long lines during lunch, so plan accordingly. *Favorites*: THE FRENCH FRIES (omg), Somali steak sandwich, falafel sandwich, veggie sambusas, chicken quesadilla, chicken wings. The tres leches they sell are wonderful (but I gotta say I sorely miss the chocolate mousse cake thing they used to have when they were located on West Bank -- bring back the chocolate mousse please 😭)

Big fan of their quesadilla and fries. Not a sauce person, but everyone raves about their house sauce.
